SCOM 2012 Rollup Packages

Hello all.

Embarressingly we are still on the vanilla version of SCOM 2012 R2 - 7.1.10226.0
Does anyone have the links to download all the rollup packages?
The early rollups are no longer on Microsoft support pages to download.
I have yet to try Windows updates that might work but any help is appreciated.

I need to get SCOM udpated to move over to SCOM2016

Neil. It’s a roll up so you can just install the latest

Update rollups are cumulative, so you will only need the latest one.

Hi.

To my knowledge, the rollup updates are cumulative, so you should only need to download and install the latest one. Follow the instructions here: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/kevinholman/2016/09/06/ur11-for-scom-2012-r2-step-by-step/

In regards to downloading the update, I believe the Microsoft Update Catalog is experiencing issues as I’m struggling to download them myself.

Hope this helps, David.

Thanks for the help - just went from 7.1.10226.0 to 7.1.10226.1239 in 48 hours

No issues!

+1 for referencing Kevin’s guides - nearly always better than the actual direct MS documentation.

And Microsoft FINALLY removed the ActiveX dependency for the Update Catalog.

Hi Neil. If this question is solved you should select the best answer using the big tick next to the appropriate answer
