I click confirm and the 3 squares pulse but the dashboard never gets removed. Is there another option?

If these are the dashboards that are installed with the product, then they can’t currently be removed. The developers are working on an option to hide dashboards via the settings menu, though this isnt’ currently available.
If this is for custom dashboards, ensure that you have the latest version of Squared Up v3.0.7 as there have been several fixes since release.

Latest version installed unfortunately, we appear to have multiple copies of some dashboards that i’d like to tidy – I just can’t.
These are custom dashboards too.
I am having the same issues in deleting custom created dashboards, we have upgraded to 3.07
