25 Jun, 2018 Commented Sounds like you already have a script - how much of the above is already taken care of by it? Do you have any scope to make changes to it (for example, if the log file path can't be customised, so it could be written directly to the share by SCOM?) Is the script a health check script, or would you need to calculate the database metrics yourself after it runs?
19 Jun, 2018 Commented Just a comment on that SQL query - if the target DB doesn't clear down entries in that table (Activity_Trace) when a non failed entry is written (or removes them using some other mechanism), once a row is written with a failed status that script would cause a monitor to go critical permanently, even if the failed entry is not the most recent one.
