29 Jan, 2019 Commented When you insert JSON into the Matrix tile, you should just be inserting the contents of the columns array (and the UI editor should give you feedback if what you've entered isn't valid JSON, though it doesn't check the schema). Once the columns look good and function in the matrix tile, then you need to create a row perspective file on disk (see 34:58 in that webinar) which include the full contents you have above. As Jelly stated above if done correctly once you reload dashboard pack content (via the UI) or recycle the app pool, when creating a matrix tile and scoping to your object, you should see "Solarwinds Overview" listed as a perspective you could select, and if your rank is high enough it will be the selected default. Worth noting btw - when configuring custom labels or row perspectives, Squared Up will lowercase the first letter of the property name. So you probably need {{properties.lastBoot}} etc.

25 Jun, 2018 Commented Sounds like you already have a script - how much of the above is already taken care of by it? Do you have any scope to make changes to it (for example, if the log file path can't be customised, so it could be written directly to the share by SCOM?) Is the script a health check script, or would you need to calculate the database metrics yourself after it runs?

19 Jun, 2018 Commented Just a comment on that SQL query - if the target DB doesn't clear down entries in that table (Activity_Trace) when a non failed entry is written (or removes them using some other mechanism), once a row is written with a failed status that script would cause a monitor to go critical permanently, even if the failed entry is not the most recent one.

02 Feb, 2018 Commented % is only relevant for the "Worst health amongst.." algorithm. If the monitor is not in a sealed MP, you'll be able to change it on the rollup policy tab and it will achieve the same thing (though if you do, don't forget to remove your previous override changing it to "worst health amongst.." as overrides have priority.)

12 Dec, 2017 Commented Also worth noting, the name you choose for the provider will be what is on the end of the Authorised Redirect URL in step 1.5.3. So in the example above clarkd called his provider google hence why his redirect url ended in /ext-core-webapi/callback/google.
