Agent healthservice constantly restarting in SCOM 2016

Turns out we’ve been missing alerts on some key systems because the SCOM agent health service keeps restarting. Anyone have an idea why and how we can fix it?

It is frequently an issue with SCOM – the default thresholds are pretty low, and the default behaviours is to restart the agent if it cant cope – but Kevin Holman discusses it with regards to 2016 directly here:
