Anonymized users when returning user details with M365 data source

By default Microsoft 365 hides properties that identify the user. You may notice when returning user details you will see fields such as Principal name and Display name to be anonymized as seen below:

To see the actual user names you need to disable the anonymize user data feature within the Microsoft 365 admin center portal.

This can be done by going to Settings > Org Settings > Reports > Untick "Display concealed users, group, and site names in all reports" > Save

Recommended to then re-index the Microsoft 365 data source so that the changes can be read.

In SquaredUp Cloud you can re-index a data source by going to Settings > Data sources then by clicking on the spinning icon as highlighted in yellow below:

Once done, when your tiles refresh you should see users actual emails and names listed.

In the after image below I had to hide the names but you can hopefully now spot the difference.
