Do I even need Dashboard Server if I already have SquaredUp?

Yes you can install Dashboard Server on the same machine, obviously into a separate folder and app pool.
Do you need it, well that depends! The functionality in Dashboard Server is available in SquaredUp for SCOM Enterprise, Connect and EAM licenses - so if you have one of those, then maybe you don’t!
Some organizations may prefer to have a separate dashboard experience for teams that aren’t working with SCOM on a day to day basis - if that sounds appealing then yes
