Hi,

I have been trying to get simulated logon MP to work, but no matter what I try always end up getting following error:

Creating Internet Explorer COM object
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {0002DF01-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80080005 Server execution failed (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE)).

Exeption caught by script

New-Variable -Name internetExplorer -Value (New-Object -ComObject "InternetE…

 

I’m using SCOM 2012 R2 and server where script is running is W2012 R2. I appreciate any help with the issue.

It seems that there is another question about this issue also live which already has a few useful steps which you can take. It would be helpful if you could contribute to this in order to find a resolution to this problem together.
