This week I moved our scom environment from UR4 to UR6. After upgrading the console on our scom servers, I get this message when selecting an alert or an object. What is the solution to this problem?
It looks like the Enhanced Security browsing restrictions are hitting the console. In SCOM a handful of the UI panels are generated by rendering HTML with IE (discovered inventory, for example)
One option if security allows would be to try disabling Enhanced Security and giving that a test: Disable Enhanced Security in Internet Explorer on Windows Server 2019
You can also try making Edge the default browser on the computer…
Hi Everyone, disabling Enhanced security doesn’t work and internet explorer is not installed anymore on the servers, only edge. I have this only with consoles installed on the management servers, not when installing a console anywhere else. Returning back to UR4 for the console on the management servers will solve the problem. Any other ideas? Thanks.
Hi everyone, solution found with microsoft support. Needed to set this reg key to zero: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\IEHarden
