Hi
Does anyone have a good test for testing OWA from outside (externally), The test should be able to login to OWA. Or some mail roundtrip test.
Global Service Monitor only support Web Application Monitoring, not Transaction Monitoring.

I wanted to do the same test as you so I started to test this management pack. I just installed it so I don’t know if it works as promissed yet.https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/tysonpaul/2015/05/04/urlgenie-management-pack-for-scom-an-easy-powerful-solution-for-bulk-website-monitoring/
It can do login with forms authentication.
So you could place the probe on a external computer.
I tried recording a Visual Studio Web Test to login for OWA, but I ran into this error:
“To use Outlook Web App, browser settings must allow scripts to run. For information about how to allow scripts, consult the Help for your browser. If your browser doesn’t support scripts, you can download Windows Internet Explorer for access to Outlook Web App.”
I also looked at that MP. Haven’t tested it thoroughly though. Was thinking of trying Visual Studio Web test. Have you tried that?
I have not used Visual Studio web test so I cant give you any input there I´m afraid.
