If I use the dynamic tile, one of the columns is “host”. This is always blank to us, as we don’t have a Hyper-V environment (VMware). So how can we disable that column?
We don’t have any Hyper-V or VMware dashboard packs installed.
Hi,
sadly you can’t change dynamic tables with this Version.
CONFIGURATION
Can I edit the columns?
In the current version the Dynamic Table tile can only use perspectives pre-defined in Dashboard Packs.
You will be able to define custom Dynamic Table perspectives via the UI in a future Squared Up update.
But you should try to look in your Squared Up Folder (C:\inetpub\wwwroot\squaredupv3\Packages\WindowsServer2012\Perspectives\rows) and delete the configuration of the column you don't want. In this case it would be "Host". Give it a try ;)
Thanks for the info. It’s good to know there’s a way to do this, but I won’t try it if not advised. I’ll stop poking at it now and move onto other things
Cheers
This is correct, you cannot configure the dynamic table atm. I don’t advise this. Any changes to the files here will be undone when you next update.
