HTTP error 500

hi all, we are getting below error, out of the bue… rebooted server, no help. please advise if anyone has come across the same.
HTTP Error 500 (Static)

This error is triggered by ASP .NET and likely indicates a configuration problem rather than a runtime error in Squared Up itself.

For troubleshooting information, check the IIS log and Squared Up log for errors. You can also contact Squared Up support for further assistance.

I would open a support case for that but did you check the logs for any information? Also what version of Squared Up are you running? What OS is it running on? What version of IIS?

Thnx for taking the time to post.

SQ responded VERY quickly… still great service from a vendor… see below… seems its a pretty common occurrence… Worked like a charm, and immediately resolved the issue.

  1. Stop the Squaredupv4 app pool in IIS

  2. Open C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\squaredupv4 on the server and delete the folder underneath this folder. It’ll have a randomly generated name like the example from my server below (the example is from v3 so the path is slightly different):

  3. Restart the app pool and try and access Squared Up again. The Squared Up assemblies will be re-copied into a new folder in this location.
