when I open windows server I see multiple identical perspectives on the server object. e.g. multiple Memory, Network, Disk entries in the dashboard tabs.
What’s wrong here? How can I change this?
I had the same problem. The reason was multiple files of the same type under perspectives folder after migration from version 3 to version 4.
So first take a backup of your perspective folder on the squaredup IIS server and then delete the redundant files. Mine were named +1 for those that could be deleted.
The recycle the application pool.

This can also happen in v4 if you hit the “reload all content” button in the system > dashboard packs menu. That button is not particularly well labeled IMO. FYI: Don’t click that button unless support advise you to. It’ll duplicate all of your perspectives.
