I have created a roolup dashboard showing the state of an alertview and our servicenow Queue, it works and change color on the tresholds i have set in monitor on the original dashboard, and it is looking great on our monitor screen.
But i have been asked to put a number on the block, showing how many alerts or ticket that are behind the block.
I have tried different ways but none of them seems to work.
The original dashboard, where it is getting it’s state, is a search from loganalytics or from Servicenow, and just gives a table based on that query.
@JanLDam are you using the RollUp data source to rollup the health state of your monitors? If so, we are soon introducing the ability to also rollup KPI alongside health. On the tile in question, you’ll be able to both monitor it and expose its KPI (e.g. count of alert) and with the RollUp data source, you’ll be able to take both the Monitor Health and KPI value and merge using SQL Analytics so that you can have a blocks tile coloured with the health and showing the number of e.g. tickets. Due in the coming weeks, there will be an announcement here: Changelog | SquaredUp
