SCOM 2016 MP in SCOM 2012 R2

I have by mistake imported SCOM 2016 MP into SCOM 2012 R2 for some of the core SCOM MP’s (you would have thought the system would do some checks…) What is the best way to revert back to the SCOM 2012 R2 version? Restore both SCOM DB and SCOM DW DB?

This will be solved by a DB restore and there’s probably no other way I’m afraid.
