SCOM Datawarehouse Error- OperationsManagerDW file size incerasing rapidly

Hi Team,

Recently we server security patching and after the server reboot the Size of DB is high. and i could see below errors in OPSManager event log.

Error occurred during CPU Usage for SQL Instances data source executing.
Computer:XXXXXX
Reason: Exception calling “Fill” with “1” argument(s): “VIEW SERVER STATE permission was denied on object ‘server’, database ‘master’.
The user does not have permission to perform this action.”
Position:809
Offset:19
Instance:MSSQLSERVER

Not sure about that… is there any query to remove unwanted data from SCOM DW

Tricky to answer that as the definition of “unwanted data” is very relative. You can groom your DW though.

Looks like a permissions error to me though. But yes through the queries at Kevins site you could try and groom out some data you dont need. Gives you time to do your troubleshooting of the actual issue probably.
