SQL Job Duration Monitor

Hi Guys,

for the job duration monitor in SCOM, i configured to alert if the job is running for longer than 120 minutes… but my question is does it report after the job finished or if the job was still executing.

i want it to alert if the job is still running for more than 120 minutes. even if its not finished.

any ideas how it is configured?

I believe this monitor checks from the start time of the job and alerts if it exceeds either of the lower or upper thresholds (default 60 and 120 minutes).

This type of monitoring can be quite noisy, be sure to only enable this on the jobs that are critical to your needs :slight_smile:
