After creating a few Enterprise Applications in SquaredUp, I am getting a significant number of alerts for “Unable to establish TCP connection to dependency”.
Most of these alerts are for port 1433 and port 6600 on Database servers …
How to resolve these alerts? Is it safe to simply disable them via an Override if un-necessary?
You can disable the monitor, but I’m not sure how this would be reflected in the EA map, as the links are shown between objects (would they disappear or go grey?).
You can, however, edit the map and click Options and uncheck the TCP links:
