A use case for stacked columns is any scenario where both the total trend as well as the individual distribution within the trend is visualized in the same graph (hope I’m making sense here).
To give you a specific use case as an example: I am currently working on visualizing utilization numbers for my team. I’ve attached a mockup of this specific use case.
