I haven’t been able to find the upgrade path I need to take to get my squaredup from 3.1.3 to 3.1.11 it might be that I can go straight to the latest version from the version I’m currently on but I wanted to be sure before doing this.
If anyone can help answer this question that would be great.
I have just installed it on top of the other version. No problem.
But you have to check that you dont have multiple ssr3.exe-processes running. Due to a bug in the open access there can be multiple processes running that wont close during the upgrade. You could stop the the website and application pool and see that they get closed before upgrading. Otherwise you have to kill those processes.
Upgrades are a “next next next” kinda thing. Just download from the download site, and run through the steps.
Downtime is minimal, and you’ll be on the latest version in less than 5 minutes. If you run into any issues, just drop support an email and they’ll walk you through it.
Jan is correct, though the bug mentioned shouldn’t be an issue anymore
Thanks for the replies just to be clear run the installs of each version so 3.1.3 to 3.1.4 and so on until I get to version 3.1…11. Or go straight to version 3.1.11.
I should also state I’m running this in HA on to servers so will need to do it twice. Would like to avoid having to repeat the steps over and over again if I can
Updates are cumulative - Just install the latest to get all of the previous updates. You can go from 3.1.3 straight to 3.1.11 in a few clicks.
This may not always be the case, but right now, you’re good to go
