This is more a feature request than a question.
We want to monitor the connections between core routers and showing it on a Visio diagram. However, on our NOC wall the difference between a black line and a red line isn’t noticeable unless the line is quite thick. I don’t want our drawing to have giant lines between icons… unless they double or triple in size on color change.
probably not something that can be done right away but maybe food for thought.

Thanx for the info on the request, still getting used to things. My diagram is very busy all ready and I was hoping to not add to many more things to it, and it already has the lines. 
Why not have a block, circle, or some other shape as an icon above the link. You could then link the health state to that object instead? Side note, feature requests should be raised with support, as they don’t track that here (AFAIK). They can also associate you with the dev ticket, so you’ll get updated if/when somethings been done.
